We have some good news for our movie lovers: as promised, Visionär is back! We love new Auteurs so much, and we are really keen on supporting them so we decided to go monthly. Visionär, whose Festival’s first edition took place last April, will screen a movie every last Tuesday at Il Kino, in the heart of Neukölln. To get off to a good start, we decided to invite our audience to watch with us the first movie by our beloved Lukas Rinner Valenta. For those ones who already know Visionär, this name might ring a bell. Indeed, The Austrian-Argentinian director was behind Los Decentes: the most appreciated movie at Visionär Film Festival. We still remember you laughing while watching Los Decentes and you loved it so deeply to confer the Audience Award upon it.
On the 29th of August don’t miss the appointment with Parabellum at 8pm. The dark humour of Lukas Rinner Valenta touches a group of people who left their comfortable lives of Buenos Aires to get ready to the pending arrival of the end of the world.
With these monthly encounters, we want to encourage our audience to discover first or second feature films that have either never screened in Berlin or didn’t get the chance to gain enough attention when they were released.
The next appointments are:
Heavenly Nomadic by Mirlan Abdykalykov on the 26th of September,
Land Of The Little People by Yaniv Berman on the 31st of October,
Father / Babai (Mein Vater) by Visar Morina on the 28th of November.
Stay tuned for more info!
