An intimate and immersive, passionate and visionary portrait that conveys the sense of an uncommon existence spent between courage and fragility, raises and falls, excesses and diversity. Marie Losier establishes a tangible and sincere bond with Cassandro, known as “the Exotic”. Her warm-hearted observation, however, does not end with its human side. Through a brilliant use of 16 mm, combining images and emotions, reality and staging, body and scars, love, pain and paillettes, she reasons about the purest filmic matter.
