Visionär & FeldKino Go TanzTangente #2

On 14th of August at 8:45, with the support of Catalan Films&TV and Institut Ramon Llull, we’ll invite you to the Hof of TanzTangente in Steglitz to enjoy three Spanish short films selected with a Visionär touch: Suc de síndria (Watermelon Juice) by Irene Moray (fiction), Panteres (Panthers) by Èrika Sánchez (fiction), Cerdita (Piggy) by Carlota Pereda (fiction).

This program is an exploratory look at female* bodies: bodies observing categories with the need to get rid of them; bodies with wounds to heal and others, humiliated, who find an unexpected revenge.

Suc de síndria by Irene Moray (23’): Barbara and Pol spend a few days on holiday with a group of friends. With the support of Pol, in the midst of nature, between tears and laughter, Barbara will heal old wounds and redefine her sexuality.

Panteres (Panthers) by Èrika Sánchez (22’): Scarred, fat, pregnant, shaved, tattooed: Joana examines the bodies of the women in the changing room. Can you change your body? Your gender? Femininity?

Cerdita (Piggy) by Carlota Pereda (14’): Three girls ruthlessly tease an overweight teen named Sara whom they nickname ‘Cerdita’ (Piggy). They steal her clothes and belongings, leaving her to walk home in just her bikini. However, as events unfold, it is Sara who will have the last laugh.
